Welsh Language Comedy Night – THIS EVENT IS IN THE WELSH LANGUAGE
An evening of Welsh Comedy with Noel James, Beth Jones and Aled Richards.
The night sees some of Wales’ best touring comedians take to the stage at Tŷ Pawb. With performances by:
Noel James, leader of the evening. Noel has been treading the boards for over twenty years. In 2018 he reached the pre-final round of BGT. According to one reviewer he has the ‘soul of a poet’, and his comedy depends to some extent on the nature of words, for playing with language takes his fancy.
And if you make sense of the language, it will lead to censorship. The food area will be open before the show and the bar will be open all night!
Beth Jones, originally from North Wales, Beth started her stand-up career down in the capital Cardiff, and she is now a familiar face on the comedy scene in Wales and Southern England. “Beth alternates between charming dark humor and absurd silliness, and she is always extremely funny”
Aled Richards, who comes from West Wales, is a comedy scriptwriter and performer who has appeared on a number of Radio Cymru shows and starred on Noson Lawen on S4C.
The Food Court will be open before the show and the Bar will be open all night!
