Join Harpist Sioned Williams on an exhilarating evening of stories and music from her illustrious career, as she performs music ‘from then till now’ reflecting key events in her life, focusing on the passion she has for performing and creating. Sioned weaves her story with words and anecdotes, poignancy and plenty of humour!
The evening will focus on Sioned’s career as a renowned soloist, Principal Harpist BBCSO for 28 years, recording artiste, chamber and concerti player, pioneering teacher, researcher, script-writer and story-teller, has taken her around the globe, navigating life from her home county of Flintshire, North Wales, to the international concert platform.
The programme which is accompanied by an exhibition of Sioned’s life from childhood to today with scrapbooks full of childhood photos in Sychdyn, Mold, Eisteddfodau, old programmes and more. This programme is in two halves of 45 muinets; harp playing combined with stories about Sioned’s life, mentioning how each piece of music played a pivotal role in her story.
