Xplore! Science Discovery Centre and Ty Paŵb are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of the Darganfod//Discover Science and Arts Festival.

The 2024 edition is set to take place on the 3rd and 4th of August in the heart of Wrexham. This extraordinary weekend event promises to be a fusion of science and the arts, creating an immersive experience for all attendees.

This year’s Darganfod//Discover edition is poised to be the most diverse and exciting festival to date. It’s as well as a vibrant platform that invites people to engage with Wrexham as more than just a tourist destination. Lead member with responsibility for Tŷ Pawb, Cllr Hugh Jones, said: “We are thrilled to be continuing the fruitful partnership with Tŷ Pawb’s neighbours at Xplore! Science Discovery Centre to bring this fantastic event to Wrexham city centre. Last year’s festival was a tremendous success, with over 800 children and parents attending over the two days. We’ll be looking to build on this success again over the summer and look forward to announcing the full line-up very soon.”

Councillor Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s Lead Member for Economy, said: “Since returning in 2019, Darganfod has grown to become one of our most popular summer family activities and is now a key date on Wrexham’s events calendar. We look forward to welcoming even more families and visitors to the city centre in 2024 to enjoy another extravaganza of science and art.
