Juanjo Blázquez – Piano Recital

Our Spring / Summer season of lunchtime classical and contemporary concerts are under way. Featuring live music performances from a diverse range of musicians and genres. You can attend the concert spontaneously on your lunch break, the programme lasts 45 to 55 minutes and often showcases chamber music, solo piano recitals, folk music, classical guitar and classical duos. Performances are every other Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm in our Performance Space, entry is free but we welcome donations.
As you would expect of a lunchtime concert, our food court will be open serving a variety of delicious food and drink offerings. You also might want to make time to visit the gallery before or after the concert.

On Wednesday the 02nd of July we are thrilled to welcome Juanjo Blázquez to perform a Piano recital. Born in Lorca (Spain) in 1998, Juanjo began his piano studies at the Narciso Yepes Conservatory at 8 years old. Juanjo has received masterclasses from teachers such as Lilya Zilberstein, Anna Malikova, Stefan Vladar, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Stephen Hough, Eldar Nebolsin, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, and Eliso Virsaladze among others.

Most of all, Juanjo enjoys the social interaction of music. His fundamental love of performing is driven by the language of music, not only a beautiful form of expression and communication between collaborative musicians, but also between musicians and the public. For this reason, one of his greatest joys is to play chamber music, piano duos, and piano concerti with orchestras, and how much it means to share this passion with an audience.
