Multilingual Fun Family Poetry Workshop with Natasha Borton

August 8 @ 10:00 - 12:00

Step into a joyful jumble of words at our Multilingual Fun Poetry Workshop, inspired by the playful spirit of Roald Dahl and his wonderful gobblefunk!

This warm and welcoming session invites families and word-lovers of all ages and languages. Led by the splendiferous poet Natasha Borton, this delightfully daft adventure is bursting with giggles, gibberish, and the secret poetry hiding in your cornflakes.

No experience needed—just curiosity and a love for language!

Together, we’ll play with sounds, invent new words, and create poems that celebrate the mix of languages and voices around us. Whether you’re whispering in Welsh, dreaming in Arabic, or rhyming in Portuguese, come discover the joy of poetry in every tongue—and let your imagination take flight!

Come play with poetry, and let your tongue go skipping into nonsense!

Natasha Borton is a Welsh poet, musician, and theatre-maker based in Wrexham, North Wales. She creates multilingual, inclusive spaces through poetry and performance, often exploring identity, community, and everyday magic. As Artistic Director of Voicebox and a seasoned performer, she has shared her work across the UK and internationally.
