Teen Art Club: Photography Walk & Workshop with Oliver Stephen

Monday 27th October, 1pm to 4pm.

In this practical workshop with documentary photographer Oliver Stephen, participants will explore the city centre in search of three photos that tell a story about Wrexham. Learn compositional skills to help you take compelling photographs and curating skills to help you choose the most effective ones in your body of work.

Participating young photographers will leave the workshop with a tryptic of 3 printed photographs that showcase what they’ve learnt.

Oliver Stephen is an established street photographer with a background in fine art and graphic design, known for striking pictures of local people and places and appearing on Welcome to Wrexham.

You are welcome to bring your own camera, camera-phone, tablet or laptop to this session; but equipment will be provided if you don’t have your own.

This session is suitable for young people aged 11 to 16. £7.50 per young person. Bursary places available for families facing financial hardship, please contact teampawb@wrexham.gov.uk for more information.
