DESCRIPTION:Family Art Club celebrates creativity and play through hands-on making\, painting and drawing. Every week we’ll reveal a treasure trove of art materials\, loose parts and recycling themed around our exhibitions to be transformed into whatever artworks\, models and fashion accessories you can dream up! \nFamily Art Club is suitable for children of all ages and we encourage parents\, grandparents and carers to get stuck in too – this isn’t children’s art club\, its Family Art Club! \n– Please wear clothes you won’t be upset about getting messy. \n– All children must be accompanied by an adult. \nBooking \nFamily Art Club is a drop-in session\, but we do recommend booking to make sure that you have a place during busier times. Places at Family Art Club are offered on a ‘pay what you can’ donation basis\, so that you can choose how much to pay according to what your family can afford. Your donations support us in delivering an accessible arts service for local families. \nSession Topics \n05/09/26 – Dusk and Dawn – exploring sunrise and sunset alongside the MURMUR exhibition.\n12/09/26 – International Dot Day – taking inspiration from Yayoi Kusama.\n19/09/26 – International Day of Peace – with guest artist Sophie Nina.\n26/09/26 – World Dream Day – creating surrealist dreamscapes.\n3/09/26 – National Badger Day – artwork inspired by the UK’s largest land predator.\n10/09/26 – 1867 Wrexham Year of Wonder: Dewey Decimal Character Design Competition – create your own unique character in collaboration with Wrexham Library.\n17/09/26 – World Food Day – potato printing and art inspired by what we eat. \nNo sessions on the 24th & 31st October for half term.\nFamily Art Club winter programme starts on the 7th November.

DESCRIPTION:Coming together to connect\, reflect and be in our natural flow of wellbeing. \nHistory suggests that drumming has enhanced wellbeing for millennia – and now it’s our turn. \nWith thanks to a collaboration of Tŷ Pawb\, CreuYnni Wellbeing CIC and M’anam Cara – this is a gift what you feel event. Gift donations directly support the practitioners. \nThese gifts of donations can have the added bonus of securing a drum – often there are plenty enough to go round.\nAs well as playing the instruments provided\, you can bring your own drum\, rattles\, and other percussion and other intstruments – including your voice!\nIn these events we can find our own rhythms\, our own expressions\, in co-creation with wisdom around us and within us.\nThis means this is suitable for complete beginners and advanced drummers alike.\nWe welcome diversity here\, those of all backgrounds\, birthplaces\, identities\, abilities\, disabilities\, neurodiversities\, LGBTQIA+ any that respect our united diverities are all welcome here.\nPlease book to secure your place – and if you choose – a drum!
