International collaboration could be your answer! \nCome and join Dirty Protest\, Ty Pawb\, and artists from Wrexham and across Wales for a day exploring international creative collaboration and partnership working opportunities between Wales and the world. \nLearn from artists and programmers who are working internationally about the challenges and joys of creating work between Wales and other nations. Hear about the international opportunities for artists in Wrexham and Wales in 2026 and beyond from a range of artists and organisations taking Wales to the world. \nPanel discussions will outline how you can build links with partners in other countries\, find funding to take your work abroad\, and how you can find new markets to build a sustainable career. Working groups will share ideas for what Wrexham and Wales can bring to the world\, and how we can use opportunities like Wrecsam2029 City of Culture to support and underpin future collaboration. \nThe international touring landscape has changed\, especially with the impacts of Brexit and the global Covid19 pandemic\, but new opportunities for collaboration have risen for Wales to show our unique artistic and cultural work to the world. DESCRIPTION:A Warm Welcome at Ty Pawb –– Free Weekly Warm Space Craft Activity with a Hot Meal! \nAs part of Wrexham Council’s efforts to support residents through the cost of living crisis\, a number of community ‘warm places’ in have been established Wrexham. These are already existing warm spaces where people can come to stay warm\, including ten of our libraries and the Wellbeing Hub. \nLaunching on the 11th December\, Warm Welcome at Ty Pawb is a new Warm Space project that will offer participants the opportunity to learn new craft skills\, in a relaxed social environment with a free hot drink and hot meal. \nWarm Welcome has been funded through the Warm Spaces Small Grant Fund for the benefit of residents struggling with the cost of living. \nSessions will be delivered by experienced local artist Ceri Wright and include a range of creative activity including working with print\, collage and clay. DESCRIPTION:A Warm Welcome at Ty Pawb –– Free Weekly Warm Space Craft Activity with a Hot Meal! \nAs part of Wrexham Council’s efforts to support residents through the cost of living crisis\, a number of community ‘warm places’ in have been established Wrexham. These are already existing warm spaces where people can come to stay warm\, including ten of our libraries and the Wellbeing Hub. \nLaunching on the 11th December\, Warm Welcome at Ty Pawb is a new Warm Space project that will offer participants the opportunity to learn new craft skills\, in a relaxed social environment with a free hot drink and hot meal. \nWarm Welcome has been funded through the Warm Spaces Small Grant Fund for the benefit of residents struggling with the cost of living. \nSessions will be delivered by experienced local artist Ceri Wright and include a range of creative activity including working with print\, collage and clay. DESCRIPTION:One person in four will experience a form of mental health condition in the course of a year. Mental Health First Aid (Wales) training can help improve lives. \nAims: \nThis two-day course aims to improve mental health awareness\, and help people in the creative sectors to recognise the signs and symptoms of someone with mental health conditions. Practical information will be provided. Please note the course content has not been tailored to the creative sector\, but you will be on the course with other creatives and have an opportunity to work in small groups. \nObjectives: \nThe course does not train you to be a therapist\, counsellor or mental health professional\, but it will increase your confidence in working with vulnerable adults. \nBy the end of the session you should be able to: \n\ngive initial help to someone experiencing a mental health problem\ndeal with a crisis situation or the first signs of someone developing mental ill health\nguide people towards appropriate support\n\nPlease note that this course covers sensitive subjects that may be upsetting for some people. DESCRIPTION:A Warm Welcome at Ty Pawb –– Free Weekly Warm Space Craft Activity with a Hot Meal! \nAs part of Wrexham Council’s efforts to support residents through the cost of living crisis\, a number of community ‘warm places’ in have been established Wrexham. These are already existing warm spaces where people can come to stay warm\, including ten of our libraries and the Wellbeing Hub. \nLaunching on the 11th December\, Warm Welcome at Ty Pawb is a new Warm Space project that will offer participants the opportunity to learn new craft skills\, in a relaxed social environment with a free hot drink and hot meal. \nWarm Welcome has been funded through the Warm Spaces Small Grant Fund for the benefit of residents struggling with the cost of living. \nSessions will be delivered by experienced local artist Ceri Wright and include a range of creative activity including working with print\, collage and clay. Food and drink will be provided by The Courtyard Café in Ty Pawb’s food court\, via a voucher given to session attendees. \nFor more information about this programme\, please contact: teampawb@wrexham.gov.uk
