DESCRIPTION:Teen Art Club (11-17s)\n16/02/2026\, 13:00 – 16:00\n£6.50 per young person. Booking essential.\nThis is a drop-off session\, but parents / carers are welcome to stay if young people feel anxious or require support for additional needs. Parents / carers will be asked to complete an emergency contact form ahead of the session. \nReverse painting with David Setter\nHave you ever wondered what it’s like to create a painting\, illustration or doodle backwards?\nColour first and then ‘trapping’ that colour with line work….It’s a lovely loose way to create\, and it eliminates the need to attempt to paint neatly to the line. A time saving\, fun and improvised way of creating pictures which works well in any medium.\nWe’ll be looking at and listening to the wonderful work of Jonathan le Vay for inspiration. David will also bring examples of his own floral paintings along to the session\, and will be demonstrating tips and tricks on doodle character creation.\nWe will be using music to create one line (continuous line) drawings to find out if the tempo of music plays a part in how we draw.

DESCRIPTION:A Warm Welcome at Tŷ Pawb –– Free Weekly Warm Space Craft Activity with a Hot Meal! \nAs part of Wrexham Council’s efforts to support residents through the cost of living crisis\, a number of community ‘warm places’ in have been established Wrexham. These are already existing warm spaces where people can come to stay warm\, including ten of our libraries and the Wellbeing Hub. \nLaunching on the 11th December\, Warm Welcome at Tŷ Pawb is a new Warm Space project that will offer participants the opportunity to learn new craft skills\, in a relaxed social environment with a free hot drink and hot meal. \nWarm Welcome has been funded through the Warm Spaces Small Grant Fund for the benefit of residents struggling with the cost of living. \nSessions will be delivered by experienced local artist Ceri Wright and include a range of creative activity including working with print\, collage and clay. Food and drink will be provided by The Courtyard Café in Ty Pawb’s food court\, via a voucher given to session attendees. \nThe project will run between 10:30am – 12:00pm on the following dates: \n• Thursday 11th December – Make a Clay Pinch Pot \n• Thursday 18th December – Print Your Own Wrapping Paper \n• Tuesday 23rd December – Make Felted Soap \nFor more information about this programme\, please contact: teampawb@wrexham.gov.uk
