Our weekly Saturday morning art club has proved a massive hit since we relaunched it at the start of 2023!

Over 300 children and their family members have attended so far this year.

We made a few key changes to help enhance the experience for families…

  • The activity is now pay what you can, meaning families taking part are only need to pay what they can afford.
  • Breakfasts are now included!
  • We also now able to deliver Family Art Club multilingually (Welsh, Portguese, Sinhala and Tamil & Telugu) thanks to the recruitment of our brilliant new lead artists, Ffion, Priya, Neuza, Manori, with the support of our superb artist mentor, Ellie.

‘Always striving to improve’

Cllr Hugh Jones, Lead Member with responsibility for Tŷ Pawb said: “The huge success of the relaunched Family Art Club is further testament to the Tŷ Pawb team’s ability to be dynamic with their activity programme, adapting when required, and always striving to improve the offer through responding proactively to visitors feedback and implementing new ideas.

“Family Art Club has been at the core of Tŷ Pawb’s programme since it first opened in 2018, offering children and their families a chance to explore the galleries and develop imagination and making skills. If you haven’t visited with your children already, I would highly recommend popping over on an upcoming Saturday morning to give it a try.”

Family Art Club takes place every Saturday from 10am-12pm (term time only).
