Anadl:Breathe

Anadl:Breathe is a brand new music, song and spoken word project featuring five North Walian artists; from the North West poet and percussionist Martin Daws, singer and multi-instrumentalist Picsi Owen and double bassist Ben Tunnicliffe; from the North East drummer and poet Ben Wilson and poet and singer Tasha Borton.
“We aim to combine our languages and different expressive environments to represent North Wales in an original, uplifting groove that moves us all closer together” – Martin Daws.
Tied together by everything they love from Jazz to Punk, from Celtic Folk to Hip Hop Cymraeg, from the fierce rhythms of West Africa to the lilting harmonies of the Western Isles. Anadl:Breathe thread their spoken word and song through the eye of the a redemption story of who we are and what it means to be us.
