Caroline Morris & Rufus Edwards – Recital for Clarinet, Saxophone & Piano
Our summer 2024 programme of lunchtime classical and contemporary concerts is underway and features live music performances from a diverse range of musicians and genres. You can attend the concert spontaneously on your lunch break, the programme lasts 45 to 55 minutes and often showcases chamber music, solo piano recitals, folk music, classical guitar and classical duos. Performances are every other Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm in our Performance Space, entry is via donations.
As you would expect of a lunchtime concert, our food court will be open serving a variety of delicious food and drink offerings. You also might want to make time to visit the gallery before or after the concert.
This weeks concert will feature live music performed by Caroline Morris and Rufus Edwards. They will present a programme for piano, saxophone and clarinet on Wednesday the 7th of August at 1pm.
Caroline Morris is the deputy Musical Director and Accompanist with Cantorion Rhos, an English-speaking choir with strong Welsh influences, established over 40 years ago in Rhosllanerchrugog.
Rufus is a multi-instrumentalist from Bersham and a former pupil of Coleg Cambria Yale in Wrexham. Rufus has won many prizes for his musical performances including the Instrumental Blue Ribbon (Rhuban Glas) at the National Eisteddfod, held at Boduan, Gwynedd. Described as a “phenomenal talent” by his lecturer, Tim Heeley, Rufus is currently studying Music at Oxford University.
