North East Wales Partnership Criw Celf and Portffolio 2023
Role Purpose: Creative Artist Facilitators
We are looking for creative artist facilitators who can work with young people to take a creative and practical role in the delivery of Criw Celf / Portffolio workshops for young people. We are looking for exciting artists from all visual arts disciplines who love working with young people.
Our projects will be delivered in partnership across Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham. All projects are slightly different and are tailor made to suit each locality. We believe all young artists deserve a fair chance and therefore inclusivity is at the forefront of our project.

Key Responsibilities
Project Structure and Fees
Artists are paid a fee of £250 per full day workshop inclusive of travel and materials.
Successful applicants will deliver of a minimum of 1 workshop day between March and June 2023 on dates as agreed with the leading partners. Some artists may be approached to deliver multiple days of workshops with the same or different groups of young people.
Artists do not need to be available to deliver in all four participating counties, but should express which of Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham they would prefer to work in.

Children’s Bo- Staff Workshop Using Fabric

Join classical dancer and Indian martial arts practitioner Krishnapriya Ramamoorthy for this unique Bo- Staff workshop. Working with fabric, participants will explore many of the techniques used in traditional Bo-Staff spinning in a safe and accessible way.
Ensure that you bring a drink with you and wear clothes suitable for physical activity.
Booking is essential due to limited places.

The Tŷ Pawb Kids’ Christmas Party!
Join us for a jolly Christmas celebration with craft activities, games and dancing! Dressing up is strongly encouraged, we want to see lots of elves, angels, reindeer and snowfolk – we’ll even have prizes for the best homemade costumes! Plus, we’ll have a buffet of snacks to help yourself to and a post-box to send your letters to Sion Corn!
Tickets are offered on a pay what you can basis. Places are limited, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
This party is most suitable for ages 3 to 11. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
Tŷ Pawb Youth: Green Screen Workshop

Learn to animate backgrounds and film with a green screen in this workshop. We’ll be working together to create one short film, writing, shooting and editing within the workshop!

Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances we will be postponing the Children’s Bo Staff Workshops (both sessions) until early 2023.
We currently expect these workshops to go ahead in the school holidays in January or February.

Join artist Siwan Jones (Siop Siwan) for this fun, hands-on Halloween craft workshop. Use a range of materials to decorate your own perfect pumpkin to take home just in time for the big day!
Participation in Welsh or English is welcome. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. All materials are provided.
