You Have Done This Before is an interactive installation and two-channel film exploring young people’s connections to nature through coming-of-age rituals.

Developed by DARCH – disabled Welsh artists Umulkhayr Mohamed and Radha Patel – the work draws on Somali, Indian and Welsh cultural lineages to create new rituals that honour the full personhood of children. Developed through workshops with young people in Wrexham, the project invites visitors to reflect on youth, lost wisdom and what it means to inherit a world shaped by climate crisis.
