Llangollen International Eisteddfod @ Tŷ Pawb: The James Lambert singers Choir

Wrexham’s multi-award winning culture venue Tŷ Pawb and Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod are teaming up to bring a series of special free concerts to Wrexham.
The concerts will feature a selection of acts from the lineup of year’s Llangollen Eisteddfod and will include local choirs, a salsa dance group, ukelele orchestra and a steel pan band.
See full programme below.

The James Lambert Singers, based in Wrexham, are a choir of mixed voices who have been singing together for over 50 years.
Led by their musical director Clare Stephens, they sing light popular music in English and Welsh, including folk, gospel, and country music, songs from the shows, oldwartime favourites, and of course Christmas carols. They frequently perform locally and have travelled on overseas tours to Germany, Switzerland, Tenerife, Malta, Cyprus, Ireland, and the USA. They have recorded several albums and practise once a week in Brymbo. They are available for concerts, private bookings, charity events, and social occasions. They have frequently sung at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod and this year they will be on the Globe Stage on Saturday 11th July, at 12 noon.
