Project Overview:
For Ty Pawb’s Creative Assignments, Peter Hooper is encouraging you to write and illustrate new folk stories with a Wrexham-inspired theme. Participants (individually or as a family) will use their garden, immediate locality, or an image of a favourite location or landscape as their inspiration.
A gallery of images and links can be found on the worksheet below, which people can use as inspiration, although you are also encouraged to use family photos, holiday snaps or well-known Wrexham locations as an alternative.
About the Artist:
Peter Hooper is a workshop facilitator and publisher. Peter’s main focus is delivering writing and illustration workshops via his social enterprise Active Writing Limited, based in Wrexham Enterprise Hub. He works collaboratively with a wide range of creative practitioners to deliver projects for festivals, local authorities and other types of organisation. Peter’s projects aim to encourage people of all ages to write (or draw) about, amongst other things, what they love about the outdoors and being active.
