This short film depicts the wild and wonderful week in July 2025 when 5 Finnish and 5 Welsh sculptors got together in North Wales to make work from non-polluting, combustible materials, to be ceremoniously burnt on the final evening.

The week marked the 13th year of the Finnish/Welsh Artists Exchange programme run by Maija Helasvuo and Marja Bonada, which has seen exhibitions in several towns and cities across Wales, Finland and Germany.

Over 40 artists have had the opportunity to work abroad and exhibit internationally through the programme, which is ongoing.

Come and see how the week unfolded on the farm, hear interviews with the artists, and see the dramatic, fiery conclusion before they all packed their bags and left nothing behind but piles of ash.

Free – no need to book!

This event will take place shortly after the launch event for The Tŷ Pawb Open 2026 (starts at 5.30pm). Why not arrive early and enjoy both events!
