Our new season of lunchtime classical and contemporary concerts are under way, they feature live music performances from a diverse range of musicians and genres.
We Welcome Meilir Tomos to perform at our Saturday June 7th Matinee Concert. Meilir is one of contemporary music’s most audacious artists, melding expert songcraft with a fearless lyrical approach and wildly eclectic sonic sensibility.
Meilir will perform some of his own compositions as well as works by composers Philip Glass, Chilly Gonzales and Nils Frahm. Meilir will also throw in a few surprises performing some of his favorite songs.

Tom Lawrinson: Buried Alive (And Loving It)

Matinée: Classical & Contemporary Lunchtime Concerts

Tŷ Pawb Stryd y Farchnad / Market Street, Wrecsam / Wrexham

Featuring live music performances from a diverse range of musicians and genres. Showcasing chamber music, solo piano recitals, folk music, classical guitar and classical duos. Performances are every other Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm in our Performance Space, entry is free but we welcome donations.

Sinfonia Cymru, Bridget O’Donnell and Misha Mullov-Abbado invite you on a journey through sound and spirit.
Blending traditional Welsh, classical, folk and jazz music inspired by nature, as they celebrate our connection with land, water, sun and the moon.

Matinée: Classical & Contemporary Lunchtime Concerts

Tŷ Pawb Stryd y Farchnad / Market Street, Wrecsam / Wrexham

Featuring live music performances from a diverse range of musicians and genres. You can attend the concert spontaneously on your lunch break, the programme lasts 45 to 55 minutes and often showcases chamber music, solo piano recitals, folk music, classical guitar and classical duos. Performances are every other Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm in our Performance Space, entry is free but we welcome donations.
As you would expect of a lunchtime concert, our food court will be open serving a variety of delicious food and drink offerings. You also might want to make time to visit the gallery before or after the concert.
