Join us for a conversation with ‘The Yaffingale’ Ali Pickard as she discusses her experimental range of work that utilizes craft techniques within art sculptures.
Mixing wood and metal with fabric to solve technical and creative problems, Ali’s artistic process is spending many hours hand-embroidering or welding tiny pieces of metal to create texture that tells a story.
